5 Reasons: Sunrise Session

Hi there! Welcome back to the blog.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE Sunrise Sessions, and they've always been one of my favorite things to shoot, but I haven't been scheduling a lot of them recently. So today, I wanted to teach you why you should have one, and why it can make your session so much easier, and smoother.

  1. Beat the heat!

I don't know about you guys, but I am in Arkansas. We have hot, humid summers that can definitely take your breath away. If you have your session first thing in the morning, that means your getting your session during the coolest part of the day before it get's gross outside.

2. Fresh hair and makeup.

Ladies, this one is for you. If you're like me, if you curl your hair in the morning, by lunch time it's fallen out. Especially if your a mom, and have a busy schedule. If you have a sunrise session, that means your hair and makeup is fresh and ready to go, and you don't have to worry about keeping yourself together all day.

3. The best time for family sessions.

If you have toddlers, you know. My girl usually goes to bed around sunset, so any activities after around seven come with meltdowns, and short tempers. If you have toddlers, they are usually at their best in the mornings. If you have a sunrise sessions, we get genuine smiles, and good moods! 4. Less People.

I love living in Northwest Arkansas. It's beautiful, and the best place to raise children. But, its always busy busy in the evenings. If you do a sunrise session, your usually the only person at our location. So your session feels more private, and you don't have to feel nervous. Your being comfortable, is the most important thing to me!

5. You can have breakfast after!

Okay, this one is for fun! But my family loves having breakfast together! If you have your session bright and early, this means you can have a yummy breakfast after! If you're in Northwest Arkansas, I recommend Sam's Family Diner, The Buttered Biscuit, and First Watch!
